The quality, design, safety, and print of this jacket is 10/10. I bought my son a warmer coat from this brand when he was a year old and it was amazing for Illinois winters. Now that he is a size bigger and we are approaching warmer weather, I decided to purchase this jacket in a bigger size so he could wear it for Later Winter/ Early Spring in Illinois - and possibly Fall. The color and print is fresh - he gets compliments all the time, and I love the hidden hood. The aesthetic of the jacket is the cherry on top - the real wow factor is the fact that my son is warm and can safely wear this coat in his car seat. If you’re on the fence - climb over and get this! You won’t regret it.

I love these coats. I've been using them for the past 4 years. My son and I commuted an hour for work/ daycare for 3 years. The Transition coats were my goto for winter because of their design. Now that my son rides the bus for preschool, the Transition coat is perfect for the harness used on the bus.
These are quality coats. We used each size nearly every day in winter and they hold up. The zipper is sturdy. Not some of those cheap ones that don't align or with cheap and brittle fasteners. Even with many outdoor adventures and the roughness of a toddler, these coats hold up. No tears or stains. They've been washed many times. And the colors are great! I also love the tuck in hood.
The only drawback to the Transition coat is that it is not waterproof. It can withstand some rain for a short walk. Much more than that and it starts to absorb into the material.
I'm a big fan of the Transition coat. I've bought 4 so far and will continue to buy them until son grows out of them. It's a really quality coat even without the double zipper system. The safety system just makes it even more incredible.

I'm so glad I found this brand. I love that the coat is center zip and that the velcro placement for the seatbelt straps don't take away from the look of the coat. The stowaway hood is an added bonus! It puts my mind at ease that my child is buckled in securely with her coat on, but also super stylish outside of the car!

This coat is great. It’s soft and cute and easy to use. My daughters car seat straps easily go over the shoulders and she’s comfortable, warm, and safe while in the car.
Three Steps to Safety
Step 1
Zip up inner layer, then position shoulder strap into split collar and non slip surface
Step 2
Buckle child into car seat following car seat manufacturer’s instructions. Secure 5 point harness tightly.
Step 3
Adjust chest clip height at armpit level above the red alignment marker.
